Megadeth has officially parted ways with David Ellefson after misconduct allegations

Megadeth has officially parted ways with co-founding bassist David Ellefson after misconduct allegations and videos of Ellefson that involve nudity have gone viral.

In a social media statement, Dave Mustaine adressed the situation on behalf of the band as follows:

"We are informing our fans that David Ellefson is no longer playing with Megadeth and that we are officially parting ways with him. We do not take this decision lightly." He continued, "While we do not know every detail of what occurred, with an already strained relationship, what has already been revealed now is enough to make working together impossible moving forward."

The question that for sure remains inside the heads of many fans is: Who is going to replace Ellefson? There hasn't been an announcement made about this yet, but it will sure come soon.
